Importantly, the risk score was significantly correlated with tumor burden (elevated LDH and β2M levels), high-risk cytogenetic abnormalities, and advanced R-ISS stages (p < 0.01), as demonstrated in Figures 5E–H.These findings highlight the significant disparities presented by a NETs-based risk score system within the prognostic factors for patients with multiple myeloma, underlining the importance of risk score in stratifying the prognosis of multiple myeloma patients. This evidence concerns the gene B2M and plasma cell myeloma.
