CRP and age-related macular degeneration: Among them, TG (OR = 0.78, 95% CI 0.71–0.86, p = 1.08E-6) showed a significant negative causal relationship with AMD, suggesting a protective role in the progression of AMD, while HDL-C (OR = 1.16, 95% CI 1.06–1.28, p = 0.0019) and CRP (OR = 1.17, 95% CI 1.07–1.29, p = 0.0023) showed a positive causal relationship, indicating a potential increase in the risk of AMD.
