Univariate correlation analyses did not reveal significant association between the frequency of cells expressing tat/rev msRNA and CD4+ T cell counts or pre-ART plasma HIV-1 RNA or duration of infection before ART initiation (Supplementary Fig. 6) Overall, these findings demonstrate that SQuHIVLa is highly adaptable and has great potential for application in studies involving people with HIV-1, with various clinical characteristics.
