The trend of the proportion of discontinued NAT with increasing age in patients with resectable gastric cancer receiving NAT plus gastrectomy is shown in Fig. 3A. The proportion of discontinued NAT gradually increased from < 50 years (14/176, 8.0%), reaching a maximum (72/293, 24.6%) at the age of 75–79 years, and then decreased. The gene discussed is BRD2; the disease is gastric cancer.
