The adjusted model also revealed that female sex (ORadj = 1.93; 95% CI = 1.022–3.662), hypertension (ORadj = 3.92; 95% CI = 2.119–7.256), dyslipidemia (ORadj = 5.14; 95% CI = 2.418–10.927), family history of DM (ORadj = 2.95; 95% CI = 1.536–5.650), and PSS-4 score above 3 (ORadj = 1.16; 95% CI = 1.072–1.264) were significant factors in the association between T2DM and ACE, as shown in Table 2. Here, ACE is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
