We identified GZMB, GNAS, GBP5, FOXP3, LSP1 and CD81 as characteristic genes of psoriasis-associated CD8+ T cells, among which, Granzyme B (GzmB), a serine protease, is produced by natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells, and is an vital mediator of skin injury, inflammation and repair (Turner et al., 2019). The gene discussed is GBP5; the disease is psoriasis.
