CD8A and psoriasis: CD81 is highly expressed in both normal and psoriatic tissues, but when CD81 expression is excessively elevated, it promotes the development of psoriasis, which we hypothesize may be related to CD81-mediated hyper- or over-immunization, and this suggests that the immunohyperplasia of CD81 in CD8+ T cell subsets may mediate the occurrence of psoriasis, providing new clues for targeted therapy of psoriasis.
