The multivariate analyses reveal that a PLR > 130.7 (hazard ratio (HR) = 0.44, 95% Confidence Interval (CI) [0.21–0.91], p = 0.029), ALB ≤37.2 g/L (HR = 2.49, 95% CI [1.17–5.30], p = 0.018), and GLO > 35.8 g/L (HR = 0.44, 95% CI [0.21–0.90], p = 0.024) are independent predictors of lower five-year OS rates in patients with NPC (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
