Baseline serum albumin level (> 35 g/l) was an important risk factor for a lower incidence of sustained AKI in the anti-VEGF group (HR 0.5; 95%CI 0.3 to 0.9; P = 0.027) and the ICIs group (HR 0.3; 95%CI 0.2 to 0.5; P < 0.001). Here, VEGFA is linked to acute kidney injury.
