Finally, in 11 cancer types, FBL expression was significantly associated with overall survival, acting as a protective factor in uveal melanoma, uterine carcinosarcoma, and rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), and as a risk factor in LIHC, adrenocortical carcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, mesothelioma, KIRP, sarcoma, LUAD, and skin cutaneous melanoma (Fig. 8C). This evidence concerns the gene FBL and uterine carcinosarcoma.
