Reports indicate significant accumulation of GGCT in various cancers, such as breast, gastric cancer, ovarian cancer and other cancers.(Gromov et al. 2010; Zhang et al. 2016; Li et al. 2018; Taniguchi et al. 2018) Numerous studies have indicated high expression of GGCT in tumor tissues, yet the underlying biological mechanisms of GGCT overexpression in tumor tissues remain unclear. This evidence concerns the gene GGCT and ovarian cancer.
