Zhang et al. (2022) found that the interaction between GGCT and MRPL9 was involved in progression of thyroid cancer, and knockdown of GGCT and MRPL9 suppressed the growth and lung metastases of thyroid cancer in vitro and in vivo by inhibiting the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway. The gene discussed is MRPL9; the disease is thyroid gland carcinoma.
