No complications were observed in 57 (66.3%) patients; 8 (9.3%) patients had phrenic nerve palsy, 2 (2.3%) patients had atrial fibrillation, 4 (4.7%) patients had wound infection, 1 (1.2%) patient had renal failure requiring hemodialysis and 4 (4.7%) fever, 1 (1.2%) chylothorax, 3 (3.5%) respiratory distress, 2 (2.3%) sternal separation, 1 (1.2%) Hb decrease requiring red blood cell transfusion, 1 (1.2%) venous thrombosis, 1 (1.2%) prolonged air leak and 1 (1.2%) pleural effusion were observed in patients. Here, GSTM1 is linked to kidney failure.
