According to the survival rate analysis from the TCGA database, we found that four genes (from the 33 consistent proteins with p < 0.05) were related to the survival rate in patients with COAD, including B4galnt2, Hmgcs2, Serpinh1 and Suclg2. However, only Hmgcs2 and Suclg2 were enriched in the KEGG pathways, with Hmgcs2 in the valine, leucine, and isoleucine degradation pathway and Suclg2 in a metabolic pathway (Table S11). The gene discussed is B4GALNT2; the disease is colon adenocarcinoma.
