In addition, we also noted that the PLBD1 high expression group had a more robust anti-tumor immune status in most steps of the immune cycle, including release of cancer cell antigen (step 1), priming and activation (step 3), trafficking of immune cells to tumors (step 4), infiltration of immune cells into tumors (step 5), and killing of the cancer cells (step 7) (Figure 8B-C).The enhanced immune status of the PLBD1 high expression group may further augment the immune cell function in the LGG and GBM microenvironments.
