After adjusting for age, income, education, and race/ethnicity, TGD participants showed significantly lower odds of adhering to four out of the eight recommended screenings: mammogram [odds ratio (OR): 0.08, p < 0.01], pap smear (OR: 0.05, p < 0.01), osteoporosis test (OR: 0.08, p < 0.01), and PSA test (OR: 0.31, p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and osteoporosis.
