The results showed that elastic fiber degradation was suppressed by glutamine compared with vehicle treatment group in both AngII-induced (Figure 3A and 3B) and Ca3(PO4)2-induced (Figure 3D and 3E) mouse AAA models, likewise, glutamine improved collagen deposition, which is more severe in vehicle-treated, AngII-induced (Figure 3A and 3C) or Ca3(PO4)2-induced (Figure 3D and 3F) mouse aortas. This evidence concerns the gene AGT and triple-A syndrome.
