In the case of pancreatic cancer, migrasome are rich in chemokines such as CXCL5 and cytokines such as TGF-β1, which can be released into the surrounding environment to recruit immune cells and induce their differentiation into immunosuppressive and carcinogenic phenotypes, further contributing to malignant biological functions and immune escape of pancreatic cancer (Zhang et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
