Evaluating which ones are related to the production of oxidative stress biomarkers would provide a thoughtful understanding of the underlying mechanisms. Based on the findings of the present study, we speculate that MDA and antioxidant biomarkers, such as SOD, CAT, and GPx, might be useful for the detection of smokers with a greater risk of developing smoke-induced lung and heart diseases.
