WARS1 and age-related macular degeneration: In the GTEx dataset, expression of WARS1 was associated with reduced risk of AMD (OR = 0.87, 95%CI: 0.81–0.93, p = 4.96E-05), Dry AMD (OR = 0.88, 95%CI: 0.82–0.95, p = 1.87E-03), and Wet AMD (OR = 0.86, 95%CI: 0.79–0.94, p = 1.07E-03), while TNFRSF10A expression was associated with decreased risk of AMD (OR = 0.81, 95%CI: 0.71–0.91, p = 5.22E-04) and Wet AMD (OR = 0.73, 95%CI: 0.62–0.87, p = 2.79E-04).
