Furthermore, although CXCL9, CXCL10, and CXCR3 levels were comparable between patients with pSS and RA in our study, the notably higher levels of CXCL11 in patients with pSS suggest that CXCL11 may contribute more dramatically to CXCR3-binding affinity or IFN-inducible CXCR3 ligand activity than CXCL9 and CXCL10 [30, 31]. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL9 and peeling skin syndrome.
