The group of mice that received 104 to 101 tachyzoites persisted longer, until 9, 10, 11, and 12 dpi, and experienced an approximately 10–15% decrease in body weight before eventually succumbing to the infection; however, the IgM responses were observed to be comparatively lower when mice were infected with higher tachyzoite doses (Figure 1).
