To explore the mechanism of miR‐31‐5p suppressing cardiac hypertrophy, we analysed its potential targets using bioinformatic programmes, including miRbase, microRNA.org and miRcode, predicting that miR‐31‐5p may effectively target Nfatc2ip through binding its 3′‐UTR (Figure 3A). Here, NFATC2IP is linked to cardiac hypertrophy.
