To this end, we obtained Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) immortalized-lymphoblastic cells from healthy donors and from Cockayne syndrome (CSB and CSA), Fanconi anemia (FANCA), Xeroderma pigmentosa (XPC, XPA) patients and evaluated the tolerance to FA in presence of a combination of inhibitors of FA detoxification (N6022 for ADH5, and Antabuse or Disulfiram for ALDH2) (22,23) (Figure 5F, G). This evidence concerns the gene ADH5 and Cockayne syndrome.
