Our analysis revealed that the survival of several mutants for NER (csb-1; xpa-1; xpg-1; ercc-1) and of a member of the Fanconi anemia pathway (fcd-2), is significantly reduced compared to wild type animals (Figure 1C), which is in line with previous studies that demonstrated an involvement of these pathways in the removal of FA-induced DNA lesions (6,8). Here, TCF4 is linked to Fanconi anemia.
