ALK and renal cell carcinoma: Anaplastic lymphoma kinase rearrangement-associated renal cell carcinoma (ALK-RCC) should be taken into consideration for a differential diagnosis due to the gross features (solid and cystic appearance) and due to the heterogenous microscopical aspect, with varied architecture and cytomorphology, including solid and cystic architecture and tumoral cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm and intracytoplasmic vacuoles.
