Notably, we observed an upregulation of genes related to cell activation, including Irx3, Spns2, Lcn2 and genes related to cell metabolism such as Cd36, and Cyp1a1, in CD169+ macrophages following IMQ treatment, indicating a more active state of CD169+ macrophages in psoriasis compared to CD169− macrophages (Figure 6C). The gene discussed is SIGLEC1; the disease is psoriasis.
