The fold changes of these genes in CRC patients compared to those of normal subjects were as follows: CD44 (1.84-fold; p = 0.013); IL8 (3.69-fold; p = 0.003); CXCR2 (2.71-fold; p = 0.002) and c-myc (1.96-fold; p = 0.004). This evidence concerns the gene CXCR2 and colorectal carcinoma.
