Examination of the expression of inflammatory and exhaustion markers in tumor-infiltrating CD4+T cells by qRT-PCR (Figure 4H–M) demonstrated a 2.9-fold decrease in granzyme B, an 8.1-fold decrease in IFNγ, a 3.2-fold increase in CTLA4, an 1.8-fold increase in PD1, a 2.1-fold increase in TIM3, and a 1.7-fold increase in LAG3 from passage 1 to passage 4 in the HS diet cohort of the C57Bl/6J murine model. This evidence concerns the gene CTLA4 and neoplasm.
