BAX-mediated unwanted cell death is known to induce various degenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease [29], Parkinson disease [30], Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [31,32,33], Huntington disease [34], ischemia-reperfusion tissue injuries [3,35,36], and glaucoma [3,10]. This evidence concerns the gene BAX and juvenile Huntington disease.
