The most noteworthy gene is L3MBTL3 (PIP = 1) which has not previously been linked to prostate cancer but has been reported to be associated with height (Gudbjartsson et al., 2008), type 2 diabetes (Vujkovic et al., 2020), and body mass index (Pulit et al., 2019), all suspected risk factors of prostate cancer (Table 4). This evidence concerns the gene L3MBTL3 and prostate carcinoma.
