In addition, CD40 on CD14+ CD16+ monocyte (OR: 0.960, 95%CI: 0.945–0.976, P = 1.12×10-6), CD40 on monocytes (OR: 0.969, 95%CI: 0.951–0.986, P = 5.15×10-4) and CD40 on CD14+ CD16- monocyte (OR: 0.958, 95%CI: 0.941–0.976, P = 3.88×10-6) were identified to have negative causal effects on stroke, while CD39+ resting Treg %resting Treg (OR: 1.017, 95%CI: 1.009–1.025, P = 5.66×10-5) had positive causal effect on stroke (Supplementary Table 6).
