We observed by electron microscopy that after NGR1 treatment of breast cancer cells, the mitochondrial membrane was broken, the mitochondria were swollen, the mitochondrial skeleton was disrupted (Figure 5), and the intracellular levels of MDA and Fe2+ were significantly increased, and the Western blot results showed that the protein expression levels of ACSL4, COX2, NOX1 ferroptosis inducers were significantly increased after NGR1 treatment.
