Using the Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guidelines (ESCPG), BSL equal to or below 55 mg/dL, insulin levels greater than or equal to 3 μU/mL, C-peptide level greater than or equal to 0.6 ng/mL, proinsulin level greater than or equal to 5 pmol/L, beta-hydroxybutyrate level less than or equal to 2.7 mmol/L during fasting, and absence of sulphonylurea, these factors help confirm the diagnosis of insulinoma [5,8].
