Of these, ten (TPM3, PRSS3, PLG, MMP7, SERPINA1, SERPINA3, TNFRSF10B, C4A, HDGF, and LAYN) were associated with risk of at least one prostate cancer outcome after correction for multiple testing (525 proteins), and also showed evidence of colocalisation (Supplementary Table S4). The gene discussed is SERPINA1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
