In our study, we demonstrated that YTHDC1 was significantly downregulated in DSS-induced experimental mouse colitis, consistent with a recent study conducted by Ge et al. They revealed that YTHDC1 may exert a vital role in suppressing inflammatory responses in IBD through regulating RHOH and NME1 in a m(6)A-dependent way [19]. This evidence concerns the gene NME1 and inflammatory bowel disease.
