SFXN3 and acute myeloid leukemia: Among which, increased SFXN3 levels were detected in 7 types of cancers, including AML (also named LAML in TCGA database), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), etc., while decreased SFXN3 levels were found in 8 types of cancers, including cervical and endocervical cancer (CESC), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), etc. Interestingly, among these cancers with over-expressed SFXN3, AML exhibited the most dramatic up-regulation of SFXN3 expression compared with normal tissues.
