FASN and breast cancer: Metabolomics analysis revealed elevated levels of acetyl‐CoA and malonyl‐CoA, involved in fatty acid synthesis, in cisplatin‐resistant BC cells (Fig. 4A), and the expression of fatty acid synthase (FASN), downstream of cisplatin‐resistant malonyl‐CoA, was also increased, according to western blotting (Fig. 4B).
