The involvement of CD8+ T cells in emperipolesis has been observed in patients with AIH, potentially leading to the apoptosis of both CD8+ T cells and hepatocytes.[39] Additionally, Ren and colleagues reported that ASX promoted the infiltration of CD8+ T cells in the HCC tumor microenvironment by activating CXCL9/CXCR3 signaling axis, thereby enhancing the body's anti‐tumor immune response.[40] The discovery of the role of ASX in regulating CD8+ T cells in AIH is novel and deserves further exploration. Here, CD8A is linked to neoplasm.
