In LUAD, according to the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis in the early pathologic T stage, Dong et al. identified macrophage-related secreted phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1) as a risk indicator for early lymph node metastasis across multiple cohorts, suggesting that SPP1 might function as a putative biomarker for the early detection of lymph node metastasis [26]. The gene discussed is SPP1; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
