SRGN and gastric cancer: Herein, analyses using TCGA database showed that SRGN levels were significantly correlated with neutrophil infiltration in gastric cancer (Fig. 3c), and IHC assays with gastric cancer tissues showed that much more immunoreactivity of SRGN was detected in tumour tissues with more neutrophils (high-TANs) than in the low-TANs group (P < 0.010) (Fig. 3d, e).
