The diagnosis of BPD is associated with a substantial number of genetic variants (e.g. in FKBP5 [77], CRHR1 [23], COMT [78, 79], TPH2, HTR2A, SLC6A4, MAOA, SLC6A3 [80]) which are also differentially sensitive to CT [23, 80–82].
