<h4>Background</h4>This paper attempted to clarify the role and mechanism of vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 72 homolog (VPS72) in the progression of prostate cancer (PCa).<h4>Methods</h4>Clinical information and gene expression profiles of patients with prostate cancer were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). The gene discussed is VPS72; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
