HLA-A and neoplasm: This study provides evidence that the ERV-K-Env epitope is likely not a strong targetable tumor-associated antigen in OC due to a) no increased response from OM9.2 T cells in the presence of HLA-A*03:01 OC cells compared to untransduced T cells and b) an increased response from OM9.2 T cells only in the presence of high concentrations of the ERV-K-Env peptide when presented by peptide-pulsed HLA-A*03:01 APCs.
