Seeking to investigate the action of coumarin derivatives on adenosine receptors (AR), aiming to evaluate the biological potential against diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Epilepsy, and Schizophrenia, Vazquez-Rodriguez et al. (2020) [91], synthesized substituted hybrids (1-8) and evaluated the interaction with adenylyl cyclase (hA2B) and radioligands (hA1, hA2A and hA3), to investigate the interaction with human AR (hAR). Here, AR is linked to epilepsy.
