Similarly, we extracted the top 30 and top 9 differential metabolites with the smallest p-value and plotted into the abundance heat map and boxplot, respectively, and found that after the r-irisin treatment, methallenestril and PS (22:5 (4Z, 7Z, 10Z, 13Z, 16Z) / LTE4) in the fecal metabolites were significantly lower compared with the PCOS group, suggesting that r-irisin can reverse the levels of these two metabolites toward healthy control mice (Figures 7B,C).
