TUG1 and urinary bladder cancer: Depletion of NEDD1, a centrosome-localized protein, is linked to senescence induction in mouse embryonic fibroblasts,37 a phenomenon also observed in frataxin-deficient human neuroblastoma cells.38 CCND2, a protein responsible for regulating cell cycle, was regulated by lncRNA TUG1 in bladder cancer, and the authors also reported that expression of CCND2 positively correlated with TUG1 expression.39 Ccnd2 expression was downregulated in the spinal cord and heart.
