The medical literature has documented instances where the onset of AHA has been linked to the use of alemtuzumab (anti-CD52) [13–18, 28–30], nivolumab (PD-1 inhibitor) [31–33] and TNFα inhibitors, particularly etanercept [34] and infliximab, which are commonly prescribed for various autoimmune disorders. The gene discussed is CD52; the disease is autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
