IL10 and inflammation: The action of B. uniformis on a functional adaptive immune system, allowing Tregs induction as we proved in vitro, might contribute to attenuate the HFHSD-induced intestinal inflammation and the disruption of the primary gut defensive mechanisms (expression of Plag2g2a, Tlr2, and Il10 and differentiation of M2), leading to metabolic endotoxemia and glucose metabolic impairment in obesity.
