GPX4 and colorectal cancer: For example, Fu et al. showed that SRSF9 promotes Wnt signaling-mediated tumorigenesis by increasing β-catenin biosynthesis (Fu et al. 2013b); SRSF9 was reported to participate in colorectal cancer (CRC) progression through stabilizing DSN1 mRNA in an m6A-related manner and to regulate GPX4 expression (Wang et al. 2021, 2022b); Wang et al. (2021) highlighted the role of SRSF9 as a critical driver of colorectal cancer progression and resistance to Erastin-induced ferroptosis.
