As increased levels of TL1A have been associated with various pathologies, such as psoriasis [96], rheumatoid arthritis (RA) [71], asthma [84] and airway fibrosis [97], in which neutrophils can have deleterious effects, TL1A blockade could be a promising alternative to alleviate some of the negative impacts of neutrophils under these conditions.
