Modifications in the processing of miRNA have been linked to the development of endometrial cancer, while ovarian cancers are often accompanied by hotspot mutations in DICER1 (Wang et al. 2015a; Vedanayagam et al. 2019; Chen et al. 2015; Heravi-Moussavi et al. 2012; Anglesio et al. 2013; Gurtan et al. 2012). This evidence concerns the gene DICER1 and endometrial cancer.
