Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that proteinuria ≥7.0 g/24 h [odds ratio (OR) 6.120 (95% CI 1.848–20.265), P = .003] and serum C3 ≤0.750 g/l [OR 6.842 (95% CI 2.221–21.071), P = .001] were independent risk factors for AKI (Table 3). Here, C3 is linked to acute kidney injury.
